1946
  • Tomiyama High-purity Chemicals Trading Co., Ltd. was established in Mitakitaderamachi, Shiba-ku, Tokyo
  • (25-June, capital:100000 Yen, founder: Matasaburo Tomiyama, aged 26)
  • Same year in September, established Shibaura Plant in Shibaura, Minato-ku, Tokyo, started production of inorganic reagent
  • Production of inorganic reagent and metal treatment agent
  • Shibaura Plant had 3 employees

1947
  • Changed company name to Tomiyama Pure Chemical Industries, LTD

1949
  • Water distiller, small dehydrator, reactor tank for ammonia water were set up
  • Three-wheel motorcycle was introduced

1950
  • Moved the head office and plant to Azabu Shinhiroo-cyo, Minato-ku, Tokyo

    • Plant Ⅱ: Ammonia salts, ammonium pentaborate octahydrate,
      ammonium chloride etc
    • Plant Ⅲ: Pure water, oxalic acid, magnesium perchlorate,
      selenium salt etc
    • Plant Ⅳ: Ammonia water, reactor tank

  • Capital increased to : 16000000 yen

  • Transformed to mass-production factory of high-purity chemicals from reagent production factory
  • Set up a mass-production facility for manganese acetate (E3 Plant)
  • Constructed a new plant for organic electrolyte
  • Set up a liquefied ammonia storage facility
  • Introduced multistaged continuous dryer
  • Established a committee for Tomiyama Pure Chemical Industries, LTD employees (about 50 employees)

1972
    • Completed mass-production facility for organic electrolyte synthesis (G1 Plant)
    • Production of (Ammonium acetate, Ammonium formate, Ammonium benzoate)

  • Set up a product delivery center built with steel-frame slate
  • There was a dramatic increase in the demand of Ammonium sulfate
  • Sales reduced by 20% due to oil crisis

  • An anniversary ceremony was held at "Shuuzenji Hot Spring" in Izu-shi, Shizuoka Prefecture

  • There was an increase in the demand of chemicals for high-voltage capacitor for cameras

  • Set up a new 3t boiler (No.3) in C Plant
  • Mass spectrometer was introduced

  • Set up P&D building (4 stories) (where there used to be B Plant)
  • Aims to improve inspection/development technology facilities
  • Set up a plant for small-scale special material synthesis
  • Set up a large-scale organic electrolyte synthesis facility (G2 Plant)
  • Started the study of "LIPASTE™" an electrolyte for lithium batteries
  • Sold company-owned land(441m2)in Shingashi

1980
    • Set up auto fire alarm
    • Built a recreation house for employees in Itou-shi, Shizuoka Prefecture

  • Executive director Seiji Tadama was awarded with the Minister of International Trade and Industry Prize
  • 『Credited for contribution to diffusion, research & development of chemical related standards such as standard reagent for volumetric analysis

  • G2 Plant became a plant dedicated for Ammonium adipate
  • Stock control system was introduced
  • Completed underwater aeration device, implemented water use regulation (for COD regulation)
